As administrators and leaders we face many challenges, one of which is developing the knowledge and skills of our teams. It is critical to our success as leaders of leaders that we not only focus on job descriptions and position guides, but shift focus to what gets the job done, relationships and “Leading with Heart”.
Participants in “Leading with Heart in Times of Cardiac Arrest” will contrast characteristics of leaders and managers, study the rules of being human and what hurts motivation, reinforce how to think with your heart, discuss the value of leading with Head, Heart and Hands, compare IQ, (intelligence quotient) EQ (emotional quotient) and SQ (spirit quotient), discover your leadership voice and how to take your ego out of the driver’s seat to attain the ultimate goal of developing spirited, “switched on” teams.
Attendees will learn Christy’s favorite research-based tools and original activities and have the opportunity to share their resources and strategies for developing effective teams that lead with heart and encourage the heart in others.
