RTI: Process or Program?

Response to Intervention is clearly on the national agenda as a strategy for improving outcomes for all students. Many districts are in the initial steps of defining and understanding the core principles of RTI implementations. Misperceptions persist as districts begin the process of identifying if this is a General or Special Education initiative. During this webinar, participants will discuss and be exposed to:

  • RTI Perspectives from the National, state and local levels
  • The core RTI principle of using integrated data via an automated Student Profile as a continual, comprehensive view of every student’s personal learning/intervention plan, performance and the overall intervention process.
  • Impact of comprehensive Progress Monitoring through an integrated view of individual student progress (baseline, progress and aim lines) and intervention history to quickly assess overall student achievement.
  • Intervention effectiveness using technology to instantly assess the impact of specific interventions and life events on student performance.
  • Ease of prioritizing and interpreting intervention data for students who are at higher risk of not meeting established progress monitoring goals through Early Warning technology.

Who Will Benefit? Superintendents and other district administrators responsible for curriculum, special education, professional development and assessment, as well as administrators who supervise school psychologists, speech therapists and other student services providers.
