CEO Jim Marshall Appoints Joanie Pond to direct Channel Management team
TOWSON, MD– January 22, 2008 – Spectrum K12 School Solutions Inc. today named Joanie Pond Director of Channel Management. As a member of Spectrum’s Corporate Development team, headed by Vice President Carmi Paris, Pond will be responsible for the strategic growth and supervision of the partner channel to raise the quality of products and services available to the K12 special population community.

Pond comes to Spectrum K12 from Microsoft, where she served as the Strategic Account Manager for the largest K12 school districts in the Mid-Atlantic. Prior to joining Microsoft, Joanie spent over ten years with Apple Computer where her leadership was instrumental in delivering the nation’s largest 1:1 laptop learning initiative in K12 education by partnering with the Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia.
