Announces the Appointment of Mark Allen Nixon

Nixon’s senior level experience with such distinguished firms as Pearson Educational Measurement and America Online brings a unique combination of skills to the Spectrum K12 School Solutions leadership team.

With 20 years of experience in the education technology marketplace, Nixon most recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Pearson Educational Measurement. Previously, he was executive director of education at America Online Inc. where he envisioned and developed AOL@SCHOOL and won several awards, including eSchool News 2001 award for outstanding support of school reform through technology. Nixon’s previous experience also includes executive positions with TRW/BDM International Inc. as well as sales and sales management positions with National Computer Systems Inc. Nixon’s education service career began with Purchasing/Business Administration positions in both Creighton School District and Peoria Unified School District in Phoenix, AZ.
Nixon earned a B.S. in business administration from Youngstown State University in Ohio.
