Cherry Creek School District Chooses Spectrum K12 School Solutions

Colorado District to Implement Web-based Solution to Integrate Learning Plans Across Several Programs into One System

TOWSON, Md. – April 27, 2005 – The Cherry Creek School District in Greenwood Village, Colo. has selected Spectrum K12 School Solutions Inc. “When we started looking for a new solution, we noticed that we had learning plans not only for special education students but for a variety of others as well — from gifted students to students identified as needing reading interventions through the Colorado Basic Literacy Act,” said Mark Semmler, special education technology specialist for the Cherry Creek School District. “We had 15 to 20 different learning plans, and each had a different process and different forms. We wanted a solution that could integrate all of these plans into one system, and establish consistency from one plan to the next.
