Don Fabricant Comes From Another K-12 Market Leader, Thomson Learning
TOWSON, MD. – Sept. 6, 2006 – Spectrum K12 School Solutions Inc., the leading provider of comprehensive management solutions for special populations in K-12 education, has named Don Fabricant as executive vice president of sales. Fabricant comes to Spectrum K12 from another K-12 market leader, Thomson Learning, where he spent the past 15 years in executive level sales positions in various Thomson divisions.

Fabricant joined Thomson Course Technology in December 1991 as the national sales manager for institutional sales. Over the years he was promoted to various senior management positions including vice president of channel sales, senior vice president of the corporate training strategic market group, and executive vice president of global sales.
Most recently, Fabricant was senior vice president of sales for Thomson Learning’s career and professional group division. In that position he was responsible for the sales strategy and results across all education markets, including the two- and four-year college, vocation/technical, career ed and school markets.
Fabricant received his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, and is a cum laude graduate of the Babson Graduate School of Business where he received his M.B.A. degree.
