Application Hosting

For districts that prefer not to host their EXCEED software solution, Spectrum K12 offers a hosting solution that utilizes technology and services from leading vendors including Dell and Microsoft.  

With the Application Hosting service, Spectrum K12:

• Installs and maintains all server hardware and software required to run EXCEED (at Spectrum K12’s hosting facility)


• Provides all regular data backup services, disaster recovery plans, routine maintenance and logging, and software updates


• Provides nearly continuous access to data, with reasonable downtime (scheduled during non-business hours and with advance notification) for routine maintenance


• Performs all EXCEED software updates (with advance notification to the district)

In an application hosting environment, the district does not need to purchase or maintain hardware, and will not need IT staff to perform system upgrades or routine maintenance services.
