Response to Intervention Formative Evaluation
Understanding how to use data to evaluate and develop practical solutions
Module Three of this four module series will address the different types of data and how data can be used as the basis for instructional decision making within a Response to Intervention process. This module will include some discussion, but will be mostly comprised of interaction and attendee participation. Knowledge acquired from successful RTI implementation experiences will be shared.
Participants will leave with:
- Knowledge of the principles of a formative evaluation process
- An understanding of the principles, administration, and scoring of curriculum based evaluation procedures
- Strategies for monitoring the progress of students and the effectiveness of instructional approaches/techniques
- An understanding of how to make data based instructional decisions to improve the quality of instruction
- Strategies for practical implementation of Formative Evaluation based on interactive case study analysis
